Ephrata - Page 10
This diverse town in the northeast corner of Lancaster County was originally known as a pleasure resort and agricultural community. It also was home to America's first communal religious society, the Ephrata Cloister, which is still a popular attraction.
Today, Ephrata represents cultural diversity, while still incorporating many Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish traditions. The downtown area provides locals with a bustling city feel among the many boutiques, shops, farmers market, theater and restaurants.
